Dear PROMES Partner Student Organizations Leaders & Scholars,

The semester is done- I hope you have a wonderful summer!

As we transition into a new year of PROMES, I wanted to make you aware of a few changes for the fall semester and to request some information from you.

PROMES Updates

1.       In the past, Dr. Burleson has been the main contact for PROMES student organizations. Starting this fall, I (Dr. Henderson) will be your main contact. Your secondary PROMES contact will be Ms. Carter. Dr. Burleson will work more behind the scenes on projects, still needing & requesting your assistance with initiatives such as TAME Divisional, PROMES Welcome Event, Winter Holiday Party, the PROMES Banquet, etc.

2.       PROMES staff will be working on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for each of our partner student organizations. We would like for the president and vice president of each organization to contribute to the memorandum such that it highlights the nature of our partnership. You will receive drafts of this document over the summer, so stay in touch.

3.       Data reporting- During the fall semester we will be requesting demographic information (e.g. race, sex, classification, major) about your members. If you don't already collect that information, please start gathering that information.
