Everyone the below email is a request for help for the MAES Science Extravaganza which will be on Friday, Nov. 14th.  this is one of the best community service efforts on campus.  It will effect more than 500 middle and high school students.  For the ENGI 1100 EGRP 1197 Classes this is a great community service to do.  For those of you can stay the whole time and act as one of the mentors for the students, you will get extra on top of the 1 community service credit.  Please go to the link listed below to sign-up!

Hello Mr. Mathews,


MAES Science Extravaganza is right around the corner! It is MAES's biggest outreach even in which we host middle/high school students and encourage them to pursue a college degree in STEM. We have always depended on organizations such as PROMES in order to make this event a success. Like always we have a ton of kids coming out (400-500!) and we need as much help as we can get! We especially need mentors that will lead a group of kids through the day as they go to different workshops. Please forward this form to all of the PROMES classes so we can get a head count on volunteers:

On a different but related note, We would like to use the PROMES workshop rooms on Nov. 14 as workshop rooms for SE. If there are any rooms available on that day from 10 am to 2 pm in hour blocks, we would appreciate them.
