ENTR 3310/7336 - Entrepreneurship for Engineers Winterim Course

Interested in startups? Want to get course credit and learn more about starting a company and building a product?

The Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship, the #2 ranked undergraduate entrepreneurship program in the nation, is offering a course that is open exclusively to students of computer science, engineering, and other technical disciplines who want to learn about entrepreneurship. We'll meet during the winterim period (Dec. 26th - Jan. 10th with NYE and New Year's off), Monday - Friday, noon - 4 PM. It'll be an intense, compressed, two week crash course in starting with an idea and creating a company. Our focus is on technology startups, but we'll cover general business principles as well. You'll learn about the importance of identifying a problem, validating your solution with customers, making money, and building a business model.

The course is hidden from course listings because it is not open to business school students. If you'd like to participate, add the course by section number: 19981 for undergraduate and 19983 for graduates.

Taking this course plus ENTR 3312 qualifies you for the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship corporate entrepreneurship certificate<http://www.bauer.uh.edu/centers/wce/programs/cec/index.php>.

Please contact Dr. Panahi at hpanahi at uh.edu<mailto:hpanahi at uh.edu> with any questions about the course.
