[UH-PROMES] Volunteer Opportunity: MAES Science Extravaganza

It is time for the annual MAES Science Extravaganza! Please help us to support this great outreach event that will serve 300 high school students.


*         When? October 26th, 2012

*         Where? Engineering building/UC/TBH

*         What? Science Extravaganza is MAES's biggest outreach event! This year there will be students from Davis H.S, Booker T. HS, Reagan HS, Yes Prep and Austin HS. We will have workshops with the help of various engineering/ science organizations and we will show these high school students how amazing it is to pursue a STEM career!

*         Time? 6:30am-3:00pm Why? Because these students need direction and they need to get enthusiasm for pursuing a higher education in STEM! AND it will be a fun, social event that you can put in your RESUME!   :-)

The event will be broken up into sections and you can volunteer for different time slots or for all if you want!
