The Office of Undergraduate Research is currently accepting applications for the Provost's Undergraduate Research Scholarship (PURS) program for the fall 2012 semester. The PURS program provides a $1000 scholarship to juniors and seniors to assist a faculty member in a part-time semester research project. Undergraduates from ALL colleges and disciplines are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 25th. Interested in learning more about undergraduate research? Be sure to drop by the Spring Undergraduate Research Symposium this Thursday, April 12th. Over 75 undergraduates from seven different colleges will showcase their research achievements through poster and oral presentations. We hope you can join us and-since it is a celebration-enjoy ice cream sundaes provided by the Office of Undergraduate Research.
