[CCoE Notice] Hurricane Beryl Recovery

Dear Cullen College Faculty and Staff,

I hope you all are as well as possible given the distressing aftermath of Beryl.

The engineering buildings have power, although a significant portion of the campus remains without electricity and extensive clean-up is in progress.

Since the university is closed today, there is no expectation for any employee to be on campus and perform work. However, please access your offices or common areas as cooling shelters if it is safe and necessary for you to do so. Some building doors may be locked, so you will need a UHID to swipe and enter.

I will be making frequent stops at various engineering related campus locations to assess damage. Please do not hesitate to contact me or your supervisor if we can assist in any way.
