Spring 2022 Engineering Instructors,

It is that time of year again to plan for the upcoming Spring semester.

Blackboard: If you intend to use Blackboard and or Teams you will need to submit a request through the Course Request System on Access UH<https://accessuh.uh.edu/%22>. A class Team site is automatically created at the same time your Blackboard site is created. ·         If you have more than one section for the same class (face to face/Online) then request that the sections be merged as indicated in step 5B: How to Request a Blackboard/Teams Course – Instruction @ UH<https://www.instruction.uh.edu/knowledgebase/how-to-request-a-course-in-blackboard-learn/>

·         Request the Engineering Template for your course as indicated in step 6: How to Request a Blackboard/Teams Course – Instruction @ UH<https://www.instruction.uh.edu/knowledgebase/how-to-request-a-course-in-blackboard-learn/>

·         If you desire content be copied from a previous semester, request it as indicated in step 7: How to Request a Blackboard/Teams Course – Instruction @ UH<https://www.instruction.uh.edu/knowledgebase/how-to-request-a-course-in-blackboard-learn/>

How to Create a Team

Your Class Team is automatically created if you submitted a request for a Blackboard shell. You will need to activate it so that your students can access it.
