[CCoE Notice] Engineering Computing Services during this winter storm

Dear Engineering Faculty, Staff and Students,

UH central plant supplying chilled water to our engineering server room and the UH computing center is shut down due to city water outage.  To minimize the burden on the server room coolers we have shutdown engineering research servers, departmental file servers and departmental license servers.

Following is a list of critical engineering services that are kept online -

·       Engineering, departmental, organizational and lab websites.

·       Virtual lab - allows access to virtual computer lab.

·       Remote Desktop access - allows remote access to the computers inside the ECC.

·       File server - netstore-1.egr.e.uh.edu

We will update this notice once city water is restored to our UH central plant and once all the servers and services are back online.
