Dear Cullen College Faculty and Staff:

As communicated by President Khator late last week<https://cloudapps.uh.edu/sendit/w/CHVOvQnf9tNAioOej8ys7w/YnMQUW1VLUcjNrID5m0zPA/gKKZeYBBT25ypalSYzDGrg>, the University of Houston is currently taking steps to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. In compliance with the University's official health and safety guidelines<https://www.uh.edu/covid-19/>, all spring semester college-sponsored events have either been postponed or cancelled. This includes the upcoming Spring Faculty and Staff Meeting and Awards Presentation.


At this time, we must prioritize the health and safety of our community. We will continue to accept nominations for our annual Faculty Excellence Awards, but the awards presentation will be postponed and held at the annual State of the College - Faculty and Staff Meeting this fall. Any questions you may have regarding the Faculty Excellence Awards may be directed to dean at egr.uh.edu.
