Call for Papers: Frontiers Research Topic on Next Generation of Deep Brain Stimulation Therapies


We are delighted to invite you to contribute to the forthcoming monographic project titled “Towards the Next Generation of Deep Brain Stimulation Therapies: Technological Advancements, Computational Methods, and New Targets.”


This project is developed in collaboration with the journal “Frontiers in Neuroscience” and will appear as an open-access special topic collection.

The goal of this project is to gather a selected group of international leader experts in the field to identify and shape the landscape about the next generation of neuromodulation-based therapies, with a focus on both clinical and technological aspects and a special interest in therapies based on deep brain stimulation. We also expect that the entire article collection will have high visibility through the open-access platform.

We will welcome any type of contribution, including review articles and short communications, and we would mostly appreciate a contribution about your latest research.
