The UH Intro to I-Corps Winter Workshop
What is it?
The UH Intro to I-Corps Summer Workshop experience is an opportunity for students and faculty to learn more about how to launch their startup using Lean Launch and customer discovery methodologies. The workshop is a limited experience, involving a half day workshop introducing students to the methodology and completion of interviews and several deliverables. There is a $500 stipend available for students or faculty who successfully complete the workshop. This will also qualify teams to move forward with the I-Corps program, including Regional and National experiences which will allow them to receive grants up to $50,000.
Who can participate?
Any UH faculty member or student who is working on launching a tech startup, and wants to validate the customer need.
What is required?
Participants are required to participate in the opening and closing workshops and complete deliverables in between the workshops. The first workshop will take place on Friday, December 7 from 10am - 3pm. Participants will be expected to attend the entire session. Then, participants will be required to complete 15 customer interviews and develop a presentation on the deliverables in the weeks following the workshop. In the second workshop, participants will attend a closing session on Friday, January 11 at 1pm to discuss their learnings.
