[CCoE Notice] Free Workshop for Postdocs and Senior Graduate Students Interested in Pursuing Careers in Academia

UH together with Mississippi State University and Akron University is organizing a 2-week intensive workshop for Underrepresented Students and postdocs to Succeed in Engineering Academia. The workshop will be in Houston at the University of Houston. More information about the workshop can be found in the attached flyer. This workshop will provide free room and board for non-UH students and students outside Houston area and provide a stipend for the 2-weeks for all students. The full application is due on March 1. Before starting, please make sure to have all forms in place so that they can be uploaded at the same time that you fill your application.  Additional forms required for your application include: vita/resume, teaching philosophy, research statement, a topic area for mini lesson plan and recommendation letter from academic advisor or research sponsor.  Only complete applications will be reviewed.



All applicants will be informed whether they have been selected or not by March 30  2018.
