Welcome back to the University of Houston! On behalf of all of us at the Graduate School, we hope you are doing well. We are here to assist you with anything we can in the wake of this disaster. As we have mentioned in previous emails, we will be holding the 2017 Graduate Research and Scholarship Projects (GRaSP) Day on Friday, November 10th, 2017. This event will showcase the rich array of groundbreaking research undertaken by University of Houston graduate students across all disciplines, provide networking opportunities, and celebrate the research, scholarship, and creative endeavors of our students. We have received numerous inquiries regarding the application deadline for GRaSP. Based on the circumstances, we are formally extending the deadline for submission to Sunday, September 10th at 11:59pm for the following categories: Talks, Posters, and Demonstrations and Performances. The deadline to submit a publication has also been extended to Wednesday, September 27th. If you need more time to submit your GRaSP application, contact us at gradschool at uh.edu<mailto:gradschool at uh.edu> and we will be happy to work with you.

To further assist you, we will be hosting a Facebook Live event tomorrow, Thursday, September 7th at 1:00pm CST.
