Moving from being a scientist to creating or joining a start-up company can be daunting. Some people spend years planning out their move, and others stumble into it by mistake. It's an exciting time, and institutions and corporations are trying to make it easier for scientists to learn how to create and spin out companies as well as connect with sources of funding.  Dr. Stolz, an entrepreneurial transactions expert, will talk about some of the challenges entrepreneurs face and some of the solutions to look for from industry and academia.
