[CCoE Notice] I-Corps Regional Program

Rice University and UH present NSF I-Corps Regional Program!
The upcoming "mini-I-Corps" program allows researchers without NSF funding to participate in I-Corps. This six-month program includes a grant of $50,000 and a startup training class. Participation requires attendance at a 3-day kick-off meeting, followed by 5 webinars over 6 weeks and a closing workshop. I-Corps requires that participants form a team, which consists of:
§  An Entrepreneurial Lead (usually a post-doc or grad student)
§  A Principal Investigator (must have received an NSF award in the past 5 years, or have a non-NSF technology and have taken the class we are announcing here)
§  A Mentor (volunteer with business experience)
