This is a reminder that a power outage is scheduled for August 1 and 2 for a portion of campus.  This will not affect any of the Engineering buildings.

There will be another power outage, probably over winter break, that will affect the Engineering buildings.  This is the outage that was originally scheduled or last year, to do major repairs to the campus electrical system. I'm not sure of the length of time power will out be but there will be updates as the year progresses, with more detail. I will update as the information is available.

This is a follow up reminder of the upcoming August 1st and 2nd, 2015 electrical outage to occur between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm both days.  Only the 18 buildings listed in the outage notification will be impacted by this outage.

All normal electricity will be off to the buildings. Only emergency generator life safety systems will be in operation for the duration of the outage.  Note:  All outage types checked in the notification will be shut down during the outage.  Buildings will be locked - building occupants should not be inside the buildings during the outage.  Generators for each of the 18 buildings listed will run for duration of the outage (for approx. 10 hour period each day).  Please make sure all building users / occupants have been notified.  Feel free to distribute the notification form.
