[CCoE Notice] Campus Matlab license and installation

Good morning,

Our college is now equipped with a Matlab license manager server to serve out Matlab licenses to college computers.  Please email me a list of computer names and/or IP addresses that need Matlab installed, and I will schedule installation accordingly.  I will be expecting a rush of requests, therefore, please be patient and allow for me to sort out the installation schedules.

Students are also allowed to install their own copy of Matlab onto their own computers.  Please direct them to open a web browser and go to: software.uh.edu to download the software and installation instructions.  Part of the instruction is to sign up for an account on the Mathworks website, and there is no way around it.  Students with questions or difficulties downloading or installing Matlab from software.uh.edu should contact the UIT Helpdesk (3-1411 or contact information on the software.uh.edu website).
