[CCoE Notice] State Employee Charitable Campaign is Underway

Hello Engineering Faculty and Staff,



The State Employee Charitable Campaign is currently underway, and we want our Cullen College to again be #1 on campus as the TOP College/Division for donations raised.  No division even came close to us last year.  Needless to say, we're proud of this distinction, and we want to stay ON TOP.



Everyone should have received a pledge form by now; if not, let me know and I'll be sure to get a form to you.



The Campaign ends on October 31 (officially, but if you miss this deadline, we'll still take your donation).  To date, we have received pledges totaling $7,145 from 22 of our wonderful Faculty and Staff. This is fantastic, but a little bit behind our mid-way point last year!



Our  GREAT group of Department Coordinators are listed below - remember, they VOLUNTEERED for the SECC to make it easier for you to turn in your donation. If you haven't done so, please turn in your completed form to your Coordinator; they'll be reminding you, of course, again (and again, and again, ...).  We have a contest to see who can (1) raise the most funds and (2) receive the highest number of pledges.  You can help your Coordinator win by turning in your pledge form.  So far, Loretta is leading on funds raised and Janice is leading on number of pledges; Nicolette is closing fast.  For all our Coordinators, we really need your help.



Most of all, you can help many worthy organizations throughout our Houston region with their efforts to support the less fortunate by simply giving to the SECC.   They count on the SECC campaign for so much of their daily functions. Please join us in their effort.  Please help.
