[CCoE Notice] Maintenance Notification for Critical UIT Services

FYI to all College faculty and staff:

We have been notified by Information Technology of the following 
maintenance schedule:

Many of the critical UIT services such as PeopleSoft, AccessUH, Blackboard
and MS Lync 2010 may be unavailable due to maintenance, tonight starting at
midnight and possibly lasting until 6:00am in the morning.

Tonight at midnight UIT will begin maintenance on the internet router
Romulus that may cause intermittent network disruptions between midnight and
1 am for all services.

Upon completion of the Romulus maintenance, work will begin on the Virtual
Machine connect firmware. This maintenance may cause a 4-6 hour service
disruption while technicians and administrators update the HP firmware.
