Generation TX (GenTX) is a project of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to:
1. develop a commitment among stakeholders to create a college-going culture in Texas public schools that prepares all students for a post-secondary education
2. clarify the processes of applying for admission and student financial aid
3. increase awareness of and build support for the Texas College and Career Readiness Standards

Generation Texas is promoting GenTX Way to Pay, a seasonal promotion focused on providing information to parents and students on how to pay for college and completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Below are links to the website, videos and informational kits that will be shared with community leaders, regional P-16 councils, counselors and other GenTX supporters across the state to help plan and promote financial aid events in their communities.
If you have time, please browse the website and forward this to anyone you think would benefit from it. Please help THECB in promoting this program. Thank you.
