[CCoE Notice] Using the new Lync telephone system at home and while traveling

I just got back in town after a week away, so have missed all the
excitement about the new phone.
I use a Macbook, and on my Mac, I downloaded and installed the Lync client
from the UH IT site (as per John's email below). Having not attended any
training sessions, I am not sure what all the client can do, but a quick
test of calling home from my office just now worked fine. i.e., I was able
to launch the Lync client on my Mac, and make local phone calls.
FWIW, I also clicked on the video call button (without making a video call
to anybody), and that, in this limited test, seemed to work fine also,
i.e., the built-in Mac isight camera lit up, and showed my image in the
Lync client.
