[CCoE Notice] Learn more about federal funding for Research and R&D at March 4 SBIR-STTR Workshop at UH

Members of UH faculty, research students, and staff are invited to a unique SBIR-STTR Workshop to learn about federal program funding opportunities and network with corporate representatives, entrepreneurs, and investors.  SBIR and STTR grants can be extremely beneficial programs particularly in the current "capital-constrained" funding environment.

The half-day workshop will be held at the Hilton Hotel on the UH campus and features keynote speakers Dr. Kamlesh Lulla, Director, University Research Collaboration and Partnership Office, and Jack James, Director of Innovation Partnership Program, NASA Johnson Space Center.  The agenda includes panel discussions by business leaders who have been successful in partnering with universities to obtain funding for start-ups and commercializing research, and case studies presented by UH faculty.  Michael D. Hansen, President of the Houston Angel Network will address funding opportunities and priorities.
