[CCoE Notice] PLANNED SERVICE INTERRUPTION - ELECTRICAL PREVENTIVE OUTAGE - 12.27.11 THRU 12.30.11

Campus Community:

As part of Facilities Management's dedication to ensure that the campus is continuously maintained through scheduled preventive maintenance along with communicating any possible service interruptions; this communication is being sent to  notify the campus community of the following service interruption:

Tuesday, December 27, 2011 thru Saturday, December 30, 2011 from 7am-6pm

Facilities Management along with a contracted vendor will be conducting preventive maintenance to all high voltages areas.  This work is vital to warrant that any potential mass electrical failures are mitigated and identified before a widespread outage occurs. During this time, many buildings may experience a 1-2 minute power interruption while other buildings may experience an interruption that may be significantly longer. Attached is a spreadsheet highlighting 1) testing days, 2) building duration of the power outage and 3) buildings that will have the backup generator available.  While these are the projected timelines for the building outages, please note that these outage durations may fluctuate.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the electrical preventive maintenance outage, please contact:
