*IRB processes go paperless thru RAMP*

The Division of Research is now fully able to process paperless
Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications through
RAMP<https://ramp.research.uh.edu/>,
the Research Administration Management Portal. IRB applications are reviewed
by the Committees for the Protection of Human Subjects (CPHS).

RAMP has the capability to process new human subject applications as well as
revisions and renewals for approval by CPHS. The new, paperless IRB process
allows for the development and routing of applications, and the upload and
routing of required documents. A built-in “quick view” allows users to know
the current status of their application.
Training for using RAMP for IRB processes is scheduled for August
