Subject: [CCoE Notice] NOTICE: Electrical Power Outage

Electrical Power Outage

 

Date and Time:            March 20th, 2010

Building:                       Hofheinz Pavilion, Computer Center, MDA
Library, Engineering D and General Services

Length of outage:       Approximately 8 hours or less (about 8am ­ 4pm)

Reason:                        CenterPoint Energy will be replacing a power
pole that distributes power to campus

Note:                              The buildings listed will have two very
short outages. One very early in the morning to go on emergency generators
and one after Lunch to go back to normal power.

Special Note for this Outage:    The power pole is rotten and needs
immediate replacement. We have decided to do this before Hurricane Season.
