*Subject:* Suggestions for UH participants at Energy Symposium

Dear Tracy and Emmanuelle,

I hope you are both well. Texas A&M EU Centre and the French Consulate are
organising a conference on nuclear and renewable energy on 10-12 January
2011 and asked the British Consulate to participate. We have 3 UK speakers
confirmed, but we are also helping secure US/Texas participants.

We would like to make sure UH is represented at the symposium. We seem to
have lost some of our contacts in the various research departments at UH,
and wonder if you could point me in the right direction as to who to contact
about appropriate participants.

The areas we are looking for US participation are:

• New Technologies for Solar Energy

• Nuclear Fuel Cycle

• Wind Energy

• Energy Storage and Distribution Mastering Bioprocesses for
Energy Production New Possibilities for Energy Storage

• Nuclear Fusion

• Geothermal Energy

Any suggestions or direction you can give us is much appreciated.

I will be sending out a notice for the event soon; there is a large focus
on young researchers and we would like young students and post-docs to
participate from UH.

Thank you very much for your help!

Regards,

Catherine Santamaria
