Students must have an overall minimum 3.0 GPA and must be of Hispanic descent and/or demonstrate extensive leadership and service within the Hispanic community. Scholarship awards range from $500 - $10,000. Citizenship requirements vary.<br><br>As part of the Scholarship Program, GMiS also offers a $10,000 U.S. Navy STEM Scholarship for qualified incoming freshmen at a <strong>Hispanic-Serving Institution</strong>. GMiS also offers an <strong>Undergraduate Student Leadership Award </strong>and the <strong>Graduate Student Leadership Award</strong>, presented to the top applicants, respectively, who demonstrates academic excellence, teaching/research, leadership and community service.
