The SURF-UH program awards $3500 stipends to students interested in conducting a full-time, 10 week summer research project in any field under the mentorship of a UH faculty mentor. The student first secures the research project with the faculty member, and then the student and faculty member apply for the program collaboratively online.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.5pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.5pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>All continuing UH undergraduates with at least a 3.0 gpa who have not previously participated in the SURF-UH program (and are not graduating in spring 2014 or summer 2014) are eligible to apply. The deadline for the SURF program is Friday, March 21st.
