This program is open to Native American, Hispanic and African-American students per the eligibility requirements set out by NACME. Successful candidates must be PROMES students with at least a 2.8 cumulative <b><i><u>University of Houston</u></i></b> GPA, and must have financial need as assessed by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. NACME Scholars must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents. Once selected, a student remains on the scholarship until graduation and as long as eligibility requirements are maintained.
