This December EWB officers will be participating in the 2017 EPA Campus
RainWorks Challenge, and we are looking for members to join.
The challenge is to design an innovative green infrastructure project for
the UH campus that effectively manages stormwater pollution while
benefitting the campus community and the environment.
Contact Alexandra Herrera at aherrera17 at uh.edu if you have any questions or
wish to participate in the project.
Starting this Thursday October 19th, EWB will be holding Weekly yoga
classes led by our Fundraising Chair, Ester Lorraine, who has a yoga
certification. All levels, including beginners, are welcome to attend and
if you do not own a mat we will have a limited number of mats available to
borrow. A suggested donation of $5-$10 will be appriciated!

What: Weekly Yoga Classes
Where: Calhoun Lofts Private Courtyard
When: Thursdays at 6 pm
EWB is holding a t-shirt design competition! You can send entries to
ewbuhmembershipchair at gmail.com. The only requirement for the design is to
include the words "Engineers Without Borders" or "EWB", so be creative! At
the end of the competition we will take a vote and choose the design with
the most votes as our official club t-shirt.


Just a reminder that if you signed up to volunteer at Houston Maker Faire,
it is happening this weekend!
