[UH-PROMES Listserv] NACME/Chevron Scholarship-4/1 (Friday) Deadline for Applications

[Program for Mastery in Engineering Studies]

NACME (National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering) was awarded a grant from the Chevron Corporation to provide additional scholarship support for four (4) students at the University of Houston.
Successful applicants will receive a $7,500 scholarship award for one year, for academic year 2016-2017.

Attached is a copy of the application which includes the guidelines for the scholarship.

Submit completed applications, as a PDF by email to: scholars at nacme.org

Eligible students must be freshmen, sophomores and juniors who are pursuing the following engineering disciplines only: mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering and computer science.

The deadline date of APRIL 1, 2016 for applying is fast approaching!!

Please note that this is a new scholarship that is separate and apart from the block grant program.
Please also note that students cannot be in more than one scholarship program at the same time at NACME.

NOTE:
Please contact the UH Financial Aid Office for the "Financial Aid Officer" required for COA (Cost of Attendance) verification for the scholarship application.
