What's Up Guys!

Hope everyone's been enjoying their week off! Though school is just right around the corner, we have some exciting upcoming news to share as well!

Fluor Externship
We are excited to see so many of y'all sign up for the Fluor Externship on April 8th. Unfortunately due to this, we will only be able to extend the invitation to paid SASE members. We will send out a confirmation email later to those who are selected to go.

SASE Regional Conference
DONT MISS OUT!!! SASE South Central Regional Conference 2016 will be held in Austin, TX this year! The event will be on Saturday April 23rd at The University of Texas at Austin, but our UH chapter will depart on Friday the 22nd.

The regional conference will feature workshops designed to help develop your professional and leadership skills. This is also a great networking opportunity with other SASE chapter members and company representatives! 2016-2017 SASE Officer Elections
In addition, our Officer Application/Nomination Form is still open. The deadline is tomorrow, Saturday March 19, 11:00 PM. Spring Roll Making Event
Thursday March 24th at 7:00 PM, SASE will be hosting our Spring Rolling Making event! In the mood for making some delicious spring rolls? Interested in learning a new type of dish? Come on out and join the SASE family, while also making some mouth watering food!The event will be in the Engineering Pit.

FMC Technologies will be joining us for the evening, which also makes it a great networking event! Hope to see you all there!

Volunteering Events
SASE will take part in both the Girls in Engineering Day (April 2nd 1:30-5:30pm), and Intro to Cougar Engineering (April 7th, 8am-2pm).

These events will allow our members to inspire young minds into choosing a future in STEM related fields! The events will include hands on activities from each organization participating.

SASE End of the Year Banquet
Lastly, SASE will be having our annual banquet on April 30th, Saturday from 5:30 - 8:30 pm.If you are a paid SASE member, you are cordially invited to attend!
