[UH-PROMES Listserv] VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - 37th Annual IEEE Chili Cook-off Competition

To all engineering students,


Rodeo time is here and spring break is just around the corner. However, the event you have been waiting for has finally arrived! Yes, you got it right, the IEEE Chili Cook-off!

If you haven't been in years past, this is IEEE's biggest event of the year. There will be industrial sponsors and student organizations attending and cooking their best chili, free drinks, lots of good music, and interactive games held by each participating organization.

Everyone is welcome to attend this great event and have fun,network, and enjoy one's time to get some stress off from midterms and start Spring Break with a bang. We will be having a robotics competition in the Engineering Commons (aka "The Pit") in addition to the chili competition , so make sure to stop by to taste and judge the cooking skills of company representative and student organizations. Best chili will be awarded and recognized at the event.

We will be giving out free shirts and its first come, first serve. So make sure to spread out the word to your friends, family members, significant others, etc. and bring your dancing shoes and lots of appetite! Hope to see many of you there!
