[UH-PROMES Listserv] Information for Fall from LAUNCH (formerly Learning Support Services)

[Program for Mastery in Engineering Studies]

Dear students,

I hope you are having a good summer.  I wanted to let you know about our fall services.  Please notice that our name has changed to LAUNCH (Learning Advancements for Undergraduate Cougars of Houston).  Formerly we were called Learning Support Services.  However, our services will remain the same:


1)       Peer tutoring in about 150 different courses.  The fall tutoring schedule can be found at www.uh.edu/ussc/launch<http://www.uh.edu/ussc/launch>.

2)      Academic and study skills workshops on a variety of topics- please see the attached fliers.

3)      Individual academic counseling, helping students with learning strategies, time management, test anxiety reduction, concentration improvement, etc.  Students can call 713-743-5411 for an appointment.
