Hello Students,

You are invited to submit resumes for consideration for IT Internships with AIG's Global Technology group.  These internships are in Fort Worth and Houston.  I've attached a job description for your review.  The exciting fact about becoming an AIG IT intern with the Global Services group is your role feeds in to the brand new Technology Acceleration Program (TAP).  The TAP is a 28 month rotational program which you will pass through three rotations as a full-time employee.  For more specific information please see the TAP Career profile which is attached.

AIG is looking to hire at least 30 more interns and have already made offers to 5 INROADS candidates in the last week! The pay is $28 per hour!

Desired Majors:  Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering or MIS with a required GPA minimum of 3.2.  In order to be considered you must complete the following steps:

*         Apply to the INROADS program at www.inroads.org<http://www.inroads.org>

*         After your application is complete, please make sure complete your Candidate Prep Session on schedule a webinar ASAP.  After you apply please schedule a webinar for the week of January 25th or before February 4th.  Please let me know when this step is complete so I can schedule your mock interview.

*         Submit your resume in INROADS format (see attached format) to me at rdunlap at inroads.org<mailto:rdunlap at inroads.org>.  The instructions on file naming for your resume is below. By 5:00pm on Friday, January 29th.

Qualification and Skills
Graduation Year: Rising Seniors December 2016 and May 2017

The IT roles you will be exposed to and desired skills include:

1.       Business Analyst

a.       Skills: Project Management, Strong Communication

2.       Application Development

a.       Skills: Knowledgeable about Coding Languages, Solid Communication

3.       Data Analyst

a.       Skills: Collect, analyze, and report data to meet customer needs, Strong Communication

In the subject line please show "AIG Operations & System/Information Technology Internship".   Please attach your resume which should be saved as follows First Name_Last Name_GPA_Major_Expected Graduation Date so for example Robert_Dunlap_3.8_MIS_May2017.  Due to the tight turnaround I won't have time for major revisions so please take care in reviewing your resume before sending. I've provided an example of a very impressive resume of a current intern.  If you want to draw the attention of the decision makers please make sure you show impact and results similar to this example.  Please make sure you show that you are an INROADS candidate.  The INROADS logo is needed and you should show INROADS candidate in the activities section if possible. The objective is another way to demonstrate you are a INROADS candidate.

Your resume must be forwarded to me by 5:00pm on Friday, January 29th.  I must have time to review before forwarding resumes to AIG on January 29th.  AIG will review resumes and select candidates on February 1st for interviews.   Interviews will take place in Houston on February 4th or potentially later in the month depending on need for additional talent.  I will schedule the interviews on a first come basis for the 4th.  There are no second interviews and AIG is looking for at least 30 interns in total for both locations.    Note AIG is one a very few clients we have that will accept international students on an F-1 Visa as candidates.  They are looking for sharp candidates who can add value and looking to grow long term with a global company.
