[UH-PROMES Listserv] STEM Showdown 11/06/2015 Volunteers Needed

[Program for Mastery in Engineering Studies]

Good Afternoon Everybody,
As you may know, these Friday STEM Showdown sponsored by Shell will be hosted here on Campus at the REC center and we are in need of volunteers. SHPE-UH is already providing 9 volunteers but we need around 10 more so if anyone is interested please email Oscar Rodriguez (SHPE-UH Outreach Chair) to orodriguez at uh.edu to participate at the event. 
The event is from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm at the REC center. The event consist of getting middle school students exited about STEM subjects through different engaging activities. Those who volunteer will be "College Captains" and will have the opportunity to give back to the community and network with Shell representatives.
