[UH-PROMES] FW: Call for Volunteers: Houston Hispanic Forum - Saturday, February 14, 2015

This is short notice, however Shell Oil is requesting volunteers for the Hispanic Forum on Saturday, Feb. 14th.  Shifts are from 8:30 AM to 12 noon and 12 noon to 3:00 PM.  Volunteers will help with the Trail Blazer which is a mobile science and engineering hands on exhibits on wheels.  Volunteers are trained to conduct and explain the exhibits.  All who have done this in the past few years have really enjoyed it.

Shell usually provides volunteers with parking, food and Shell gas cards.  I am believe they will do that again this year.

You will have to contact Victoria Rivera at Shell by tomorrow, Feb. 2nd with your time slot request.

Good Afternoon John,

Shell will be sponsoring a booth and two panel sessions at the Houston Hispanic Forum this year. We will be bringing in the TAME Trailblazer and would like to see if the UH PROMES students would be available to volunteer?

I have attached a spreadsheet regarding timeslots. Please advise if the UH PROMES students are available to volunteer by Monday, February 2nd.
