[UH-PROMES] Important info for registration for spring (including workshops)

PROMES Community,


1.       It is time to sign up for spring courses .  If you do not have priority registration and want me to enroll you in your courses starting this Friday, come by my office and drop off your course selection packet today, tomorrow or Thursday.  I will not be in the office on Friday, so don't wait.   Mr. Matthews can accept your forms today only.  He is out of the office the rest of the week.

2.       Engineering workshops for spring will be available only as for-credit courses.  Grading will be S/U, based upon attendance and participation.  The schedule will be available in the next few days.  There are limited seats in each workshop and you will need to see me or Mr. Matthews in order to enroll.  You will not be able to self-enroll and there will be no surveymonkey survey for registration as in the past.  Enrolling in workshops will require permission from Mr. Matthews or me, and we will enroll you ourselves.  Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the sections are closed.  Workshop times are still being agreed, so stay tuned for more instructions.

3.       If you have not picked up a new 2013 PROMES t-shirt, stop by E316 to get yours.  If you can't find me in my office, see Ms. Torres or Mr. Guzman. They will give you your shirt.

4.       Donna O. Johnson of Guaranteed 4.0 Learning Systems will be visiting the PROMES classes on Tuesday, Nov. 5.  If you wish to get some help from Donna while she is here, stop by Mr. Matthews' office on that day.
