[UH-PROMES] Women-in-Engineering Retreat

Dear Ladies of PROMES,

The annual WIE-UH Beach Retreat will be on Saturday, September 14 at the San Luis Resort in Galveston.  Continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 AM, followed by two professional development sessions led by industry engineers (women).  We will then enjoy a lunch buffet and an afternoon on the beach with a sandcastle design competition.  An optional dinner at The Spot will follow. The day is offered free of charge (except the dinner at The Spot) to those women engineering students who would like to attend.  Attendance is limited to 40 students.  Register at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WIE_BeachRetreat. Once the limit of 40 is reached the survey will automatically close.  If you experience that, email me to be put onto a waiting list.

We will arrange carpools to take students from the UH Campus to the San Luis Resort on Seawall Blvd and back.  Carpool drivers will be reimbursed for their mileage.
