PROMES community,
I am looking for 30 volunteers to help me at Space Center Houston as we welcome lots of youngsters to the 2012 STEM Symposium there on Saturday, September 29.  Read the information below, and if you or your organization can help us, please sign up via the link below.  I believe the greatest volunteer need is from noon until 5 pm or so.  If you have a volunteer requirement for PROMES, this is an opportunity for you to fill that requirement.

Dear STEM Leaders,

I appreciate your patience as we finalize the details and seek your assistance in helping us recruit volunteers for this upcoming 2012 HCC Chancellor's Symposium STEM event.

We will need volunteers for the educational session with the students to encourage and engage the kids in an interactive engineering activities. A drafted description is in outlined in the "2012 HCC Chancellor's Symposium".  We are in the midst of obtaining more details of the activities and I will send those out to you once I receive them.

Lunch /snacks will be provided and a parking voucher is enclosed for the volunteers. Volunteer T-Shirts will be distributed to help better identify individuals for the students, parents, teachers and counselors to request help as needed.

I have enclosed the following for you to review and pass on to your participants:

This URL allows volunteers to register directly and download information details about the upcoming event. I strongly suggest that you keep a list of your volunteers with their contact information if you should need to get a hold of them for any last minute changes.
