1.   Casual dress- like T-shirts, jeans, and flip-flops- is allowed. You're welcome to come to the event right before or after class.
2.   Prepare your "30-second commercial" to practice with employers. *
3.   Bring a resume if you would like it to be critiqued by an employer.
4.   You do not have to stay for the entire event- you're welcome to come and go as you please.
5.   Refreshments are limited, so it is first-come, first serve.
* When at a career fair, you will have a brief time to spend with each recruiter. You will want to make a strong first impression within the first few minutes of conversation and maintain the recruiter's interest. To do so, you should prepare and rehearse a 30-60 second "commercial" to sell yourself to potential employers. Think of the job you are seeking and then determine how your knowledge, skills, and abilities contribute to this position. Include the strongest and/or most relevant points in your commercial.
