[UH-PROMES] Maximizing Your Power! Register NOW!

Hi,
I hope your summer has been relaxing and/or productive.  Can you believe that the fall semester will be underway so soon?

PROMES will kick-off the semester with an exciting annual two-day event that we call "Maximizing Your Power!"
The event includes activities on Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8.  We hope to see all members of our PROMES family there, so sign up at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MaxPower2012.  If you are new to PROMES, you will hear more details in your PROMES class. Make sure that your fall course schedule is complete and that your UH account is cleared of any financial delinquencies so that you won't get dropped from classes.  If you get dropped from your courses or workshops, you might not be able to get back into them.  Read below:

Here are a few reminders from the UH Enrollment Services Team:

Fall 2012 Extended Hours of Operation - Enrollment Services at UH Welcome Center and Call Center
This August, the Office of Enrollment Management continues the tradition of offering extended hours of operation as well as superior service to students at the UH Welcome Center and ES Call Center (713-743-1010) during fall "start-up."  Extended hours will be as follows:
*         Saturday, August 18 - 9:00am-1:00pm
*         Monday-Thursday, August 20-23 - 8:00am-7:00pm
*         Friday, August 24 - 8:00am-5:00pm
*         Saturday, August 25 - 9:00am-1:00pm
*         Monday-Thursday, August 27-30 - 8:00am-7:00pm
*         Friday, August 31 - 8:00am-5:00pm

Fall Book Loans are now available beginning Wednesday, August 01, 2012 through September 12, 2012 at 5:00PM
Book loans are:

1.     In the amount of $400.00;and

2.     Have a $5.00 service charge;

3.     Will be available between the dates of Aug 01-Sept 12, 2012 at 5:00PM.

4.     Book Loans must be used NLT Monday, 5:00PM, September 17, 2012.

Fall 2012 Payment Plans Now Available for Students
Payment Plans (Installment Pay Plan, Short-Term Tuition Deferment, 90-Day Emergency Deferment) for the Fall 2012 term are now available for students to select in their myUH accounts.  Payment Plans will be available Aug 01-Sept 12, 2012, at 5:00 PM.For more information, please visit: http://www.uh.edu/financial/payment/plans/index.php.

Convenience Fee Change
Beginning August 01, 2012, the convenience fee charge for credit card transactions will drop from 2.02% to 1.92% for the coming year.
