<b>Senior Honors Thesis or Master’s Thesis</b> the student should receive a grade if the work is complete.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:.5in"><span style="font-family:"Cambria",serif">If the work is not yet complete, the grade issued should be “S/U” (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory).

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:.5in"><span style="font-family:"Cambria",serif">If the course is a
<b>PhD dissertation</b>, the student should receive a grade if the work is complete.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<b>student stopped attending</b> your course but didn’t drop it, you should assign a grade of “F” if that is the grade that they “earned.”

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span style="font-family:"Cambria",serif">If you and the student have entered into an
<b>Incomplete Grade</b> Agreement, the grade issued, should be “I” (incomplete) until the student has completed the work. The Incomplete Grade Agreement form is filed with the department. Once the work is completed<span style="color:#1F497D">,</span> you
can enter the earned grade via the online grade change workflow through your faculty center. The grade change must be submitted within one academic year or the grade of “I” will be converted<span style="color:#1F497D">
</span>automatically to a grade of “F”. If the student has been assigned a grade of “I” for Spring 2025, the student SHOULD NOT re-enroll in the course while resolving the Incomplete Grade.
