 He got his Ph.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 2017. He was a postdoc researcher in the material science division at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab from 2017-2021. His research has focused on developing sustainable innovative technologies
 for energy storage systems (such as solid-state batteries) and water desalination systems (such as reverse osmosis and capacitive deionization), with the close-loop data-simulation-experiment approach.&nbsp;
