</span><span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt; background-color: yellow;">DO NOT HAVE ANY “NR” Grades for ANY STUDENTS for Spring 2024!!</span><span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;">If you are unsure of the grade to assign, here are a few helpful suggestions:</span></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;">If the course is a <b>
Senior Honors Thesis or Master’s Thesis</b> the student should receive a grade if the work is complete. </span></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;">If the work is not yet complete, the grade issued should be “S/U” (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory). </span></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;">If the course is a <b>
PhD dissertation</b>, the student should receive a grade if the work is complete.</span></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;">If the work is not yet complete, the grade issued should be “S/U” (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory).</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 1.5in; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;">If the <b>student stopped attending</b> your course but didn’t drop it, you should assign a grade of “F” if that is the grade that they “earned.” </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 1.5in; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">
<span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;">If you and the student have entered into an
<b>Incomplete Grade</b> Agreement, the grade issued, should be “I” (incomplete) until the student has completed the work. The Incomplete Grade Agreement form is filed with the department. Once the work is completed</span><span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(31, 73, 125);">,</span><span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt;"> you
can enter the earned grade via the online grade change workflow through your faculty center. The grade change must be submitted within one academic year or the grade of “I” will be converted</span><span style="font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(31, 73, 125);">
