<div style="margin:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">The Goldwater is a very prestigious and, therefore, competitive award. Most recipients have:</div>

<li> a 3.7 gpa or higher</li><li> multiple faculty-mentored research experiences</li><li> aspirations to go to graduate school for a PhD</li><li> a publication or presentation at a conference is ideal</li></ul>

<div style="margin:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">The award is not officially due until late January, but there is a campus deadline for late November. Dr. Rayder would be grateful if you might share the names of any candidates that come to mind.
