useful in smaller classes where they are often just a bit easier to implement. I will demonstrate some of the approaches we use, discuss some results of our education research, and end with what I spend a lot of time thinking about in my administrative role
as Vice Provost of Academic Personnel, and that is about institutional changes that support innovative approaches to education in research universities.</span></p>
