I am writing to remind all of you that the Let’s Talk program is up and running at all sites now. We will operate right through the last week of classes,
with the exception of Spring Break. Although the word does seem to be getting out to the student body, as demonstrated by very strong usage last semester, I’m hoping to continue this trend. You can help by informing staff in your departments, especially
those who are likely to engage directly with students, and encourage them to refer students of concern to this program. Let’s Talk provides an excellent point of entry to CAPS services, especially for students who may be reluctant to contact CAPS directly
on their own.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">I’ve included the below links from our website, for more detailed information about the program:<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><a href="http://www.uh.edu/caps/outreach/lets_talk.html">http://www.uh.edu/caps/outreach/lets_talk.html</a><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><a href="http://www.uh.edu/caps/outreach/pdf/lets_talk.pdf?2">http://www.uh.edu/caps/outreach/pdf/lets_talk.pdf?2</a><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">If you have any questions or need further assistance with understanding who might benefit from the program, please feel free to contact me at the number below.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">As always, thanks for supporting CAPS programs, and good luck with your continuing efforts with our students! <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Take care, <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Handwriting'; ">Janet Clemenson</span>,
