It may be safe to turn these back on about half an hour from the last power blip. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>As for the power blips expected at the completion of the emergency outage occurring around 6AM tomorrow, we may also need to shutdown computers as we leave the office today. As always, please contact your respective departments for help with shutting down computers if you are not in your office to shut them down yourselves. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Proper computer shut down procedures require that you either log onto the computer yourself and choose the shutdown option inside the operating system (Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, etc.), or by choosing the shutdown option at the login screen. Please DO NOT shut down computers simply by pushing on the power button on the computer itself.
