</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Facilities Maintenance is preparing to paint the exterior corridors (the corridors outside the building) in Engineering 1, but there is large amount of equipment and other material in the corridors obstructing their access. In addition, the Fire Marshal has issued his latest report that requires all of this material be removed from the corridors, both interior and exterior.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>After discussions with the Dean’s office, we will be issuing Work Orders next week to remove all material from the exterior corridors, either to surplus or the trash, as appropriate. Since this is a cost to the college, the work will be billed to the department whose lab or office is nearest to the material, making an assumption that the material belongs the occupant. Please make arrangements to remove your equipment and material from the corridors at your earliest convenience.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The blue dumpster at the loading dock is reserved for your use. The red dumpster on the right is for a contractor’s use, who is working in the building.
